Arturo,'the farmer', was born in Syracuse in 1967. Since boy he loved to live in contact with nature, experiencing a strong bond with his land and a genuine passion for the countryside which will soon convert into the activity of his life. After years of travelling and working experiences, often linked to environmental and humanitarian causes, Arturo bought a piece of land in Grottaperciata (nearby Siracusa) and, with the help of his father, the property was turned into a farm, and soon after into a farmhouse, open to guests since 2002.

Tonino Bonasera, folk musician and singer, has became a constant presence to brighten up our guests during the meals (on holidays and on special occasions), with a repertoire of traditional Sicilian songs.
